Turn pot upside down and plant.  Water and maintain the plant for about 2 weeks then turn the pot and hang it.  As the plant begins to grow it will reach up.  Fun to watch as it grows. 

Below is a pot planted with a waffle plant.  Some plants that do well in the pots are:  Dianthus, coleus, petunias, dwarf schefflera and diffenbachia.
